Mindful colouring is about bringing our awareness into the present moment by consciously focusing on colour and design.... Similar to meditation, we let go of any thoughts about the past or the future - we bring our focus and awareness toward the present activity.
Listening to music can change our mood... Its an easy way to get a quick pick me-up, relax and feel good. Brainstorming ideas gives students emotions to draw on, helps us to understand feelings and emotions. How do we feel when we listen to this music? Thoughtful, happy, calm, tired, energised, motivated, sad etc. Children easily recognise emotions like sadness and happiness. However emotions like fear, jealousy and anger; these are least recognisable.
